This should not always be the case, though, especially if you are the type who is concerned with quality. China, with all the hype they give to their "economic miracle", is churning out products that are cheap and low-quality, not to mention dangerous. And now they even rob their neighbors' natural resources to feed that hunger. What a bully.
I know it is hard to deny China's influence on the economy due to its proliferation in almost everything, even hiding under the veneer of a foreign brand. But as a citizen, I have to do my part. Therefore, I will not buy any known Chinese product, especially the one that smacks of the "Made in China" label. I do this in my own little way to help the country, and if everyone does the same, soon it's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
