No to Made in China products

The world is bombarded with China-made products these days. Even Western brands for sure have either raw materials or services procured from the Red state. And so it's harder and harder not to be connected somehow to China. Everything is made in China.

This should not always be the case, though, especially if you are the type who is concerned with quality. China, with all the hype they give to their "economic miracle", is churning out products that are cheap and low-quality, not to mention dangerous. And now they even rob their neighbors' natural resources to feed that hunger. What a bully.

I know it is hard to deny China's influence on the economy due to its proliferation in almost everything, even hiding under the veneer of a foreign brand. But as a citizen, I have to do my part. Therefore, I will not buy any known Chinese product, especially the one that smacks of the "Made in China" label. I do this in my own little way to help the country, and if everyone does the same, soon it's going to be a force to be reckoned with.

FaBurrito? (Favorite?)

Nah!

The colleagues did not like it either.

To its credit though, it's not really a bad concept incorporating 'healthy' in its ingredients and processes - it's just that it didn't make the spectacular meter. It ended being a blah establishment despite the supposed unique concept.

If it's any consolation however, I might come back for the quesadilla.

A Day at the Mall

This is what happens when I lose myself - I eat, eat, eat, ...and eat. I forget how much I'm spending and get home empty handed. Damn those malls.

Here are some food I splurged on. And they're not even that superb.

Globe Goes Green

I don't know how true this is, but I thought I should share. "The only sustainable network in the country". Nice.

Ever Wondered How To Run An Airline?

This new game will let you experience just that and it's coming out soon. Check out this video.

Reducing Carbon Footprint in Air Travel

I have always admired this airline's pioneering spirit and commitment to innovation and sustainability. See how they are meeting up with the challenge of reducing carbon footprint in the air travel industry. This should serve as an inspiration to all. I also love the idea that one day we might create a futuristic aircraft (shown towards the end of the video), which would revolutionize air travel. I just hope we have enough time to do so before climate change takes its toll, and the damage irreversible.

The New Space Race

The space is no longer the exclusive domain of astronauts and cosmonauts. Nowadays, it seems, everyone who has the cash to burn can experience it. Everyone's jumping into the bandwagon and private enterprises are spearheading the work. Here's a promotional video from one airline company.
